Riggs places 12th in Illini 100 finale at Farmer City Raceway with World of Outlaws
While his brother Jack sat idle, Jason Riggs made the trip to Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday afternoon to join the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series for the Illini 100 weekend.
Missing the setup in his stacked qualifying group, Riggs was unable to make up ground throughout the night and did not make the A-Main.
Picking up speed for Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Jason qualified fifth-quickest in his group before finishing runner-up in his heat race. Rolling off eighth in the 60-lap main event, Riggs faded outside the Top-10 to finish 12th.
